ITT (ITT Exelis) is a name synonymous with night vision in the US Military. This company pioneered PINNACLE® technology—thin-filmed Gen 3 Image Intensifier Tubes (IIT) that allowed US pilots and special forces to dominate night operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
