The scope features an exceptionally durable magnesium alloy body that provides superior rigidity, impact resistance, and long-term reliability in demanding field conditions.
Leupold has developed advanced waterproof and fog-proof technology using proprietary internal gases and sealing methods capable of withstanding extreme temperatures and altitude changes. As a result, the internal optical components remain dry, free from fogging, and crystal clear throughout the product’s lifespan. The nitrogen purging process is tested at depths of up to 10 meters and through multiple pressure cycles. The SX-4 Pro Guide HD operates reliably in temperatures ranging from −40°F to 160°F (−40°C to 71°C).
The Leupold Elite optical system delivers outstanding light transmission from dawn to dusk, industry-leading glare reduction through an integrated deployable sunshade, and exceptional resolution and clarity. Fully multi-coated lenses maximize brightness, contrast, and color accuracy. High-definition calcium fluoride lenses provide remarkable sharpness at all magnification levels.
The angled, rotating eyepiece allows comfortable viewing from multiple positions without straining the neck. External lens surfaces are treated with DiamondCoat 2 coating, enhancing light transmission and providing superior scratch resistance. The scope includes an integrated tripod mount, smooth focusing mechanism, generous eye relief, and an angled eyepiece design that is comfortable even for users wearing glasses.
