The ATN OTS XLT 160 2–8x thermal monocular is a modern thermal imaging device developed by ATN (American Technologies Network Corp.) for night hunting, observation, security, and search-and-rescue missions. The XLT series combines reduced weight, compact size, and extended functionality compared to the standard LT models.
The monocular is built around the Obsidian Core LT thermal engine with a 160×120 VOx (vanadium oxide) microbolometer, 17 µm pixel pitch, and a 50 Hz refresh rate. This configuration delivers stable thermal imaging in complete darkness, fog, rain, or smoke. The 19 mm f/1.0 objective lens combined with 2x–8x magnification allows human detection at distances of up to 670 meters.
An OLED display with 720×540 resolution provides a clear and high-contrast image. The built-in Smart Rangefinder offers approximate distance estimation to the target. Internal 8 GB memory supports photo and video recording. Power is supplied by a built-in rechargeable battery providing up to 10 hours of continuous operation. The housing is rated IP67, ensuring resistance to water, dust, and harsh field conditions.
