AGM Taipan V2 10-256 is a compact thermal monocular designed for observation, detection, and navigation in complete darkness, low-visibility environments, and adverse weather conditions. The device features an upgraded uncooled VOx thermal sensor with a 12 μm pixel pitch and NETD below 35 mK, delivering clear and high-contrast thermal imagery.
The 256 × 192 thermal resolution combined with a 10 mm focal length provides a wide 17.5° × 13.1° field of view, ideal for scanning and situational awareness. The maximum detection range reaches up to 500 meters.
The monocular is equipped with a 0.4-inch LCOS display with 1280 × 960 resolution, supports 1.5×, 3×, 6×, and 12× digital zoom, multiple color palettes, built-in video and audio recording, snapshot capture, Wi-Fi hotspot, and AGM Connect compatibility.
Power is supplied by a single replaceable 18650 lithium-ion battery, providing up to 7 hours of operation, with support for external power sources. The rugged rubberized housing is rated IP67 for dust and water resistance.
