📝 Caldwell E-Max® Shadows
Caldwell E-Max® Shadows are active electronic earplugs with hearing protection and Bluetooth connectivity, designed for shooting ranges, outdoor shooting, and noisy environments. They combine hearing protection, ambient sound amplification, and full wireless headset functionality for music and phone calls.
The earplugs deliver high-quality stereo sound and feature a noise reduction rating of NRR 23 dB, comparable to full-size active shooting earmuffs. Two directional microphones provide clear environmental sound pickup and spatial awareness.
Touch panels on each earplug allow control of calls, volume, music playback, voice assistant, and active hearing protection mode. A magnetic charging case is included.
🫡 We are a team of veterans
We use active hearing protection during real shooting and understand that earplugs must not only suppress gunshots but also allow users to hear commands, movement, and environmental sounds. The Shadows format is convenient where full-size earmuffs interfere with helmets, weapon stocks, or gear.

💬 Comment
The in-ear active protection format is especially useful with helmets, hoods, winter clothing, or prolonged wear. They do not create head pressure like traditional earmuffs and do not interfere with proper stock weld.
